What the basque: 17. WTB: Martxoak 8
Kaixo listeners of What the Basque!! This week, we bring you a program about the 8th of March. We hope you´ll like the podcast and share it all around the world. How has this day been prepared, in 2018, in the Basque Country? What´s to be expected next years?
In Rub the Skin section, regarding WOMEN´S* STRIKE of March 8th, we will interview Gladys, Nagore, Bea and Marina. They will talk to us about four lines of work: Caring, Consumerism, Education and Work. After that really interesting interview, we will explain what Hala Bedi, our radio, has decided to do the 8th of march.
In Hala Bedi Method, this time we will talk about the words Bai (yes) and Ez (no). And we will learn some words that have either bai or ez (or both) inside them. Are you intrigued? Have some fun and learn a bit of Euskara with us!
Finally, in Nor-Nori-News, we will bring you the latest news from the Basque Country. We will tell you about a protest carried out by independentist basque students, remembering the slaughter of 1976/03/03 day, when 5 people were killed by the police in a worker´s assembly. Also, we´ll share with you some news about the garbage incinerator that are trying (again) to build near Donostia / San Sebastian city. Are they trying to kill us? We all should start developing Zero Waste lifestyle, not burning it!!
This programme is produced in Hala Bedi radio, in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, and it’s broadcast on Tuesdays (19:00-20:00). Also broadcast in Melbourne, the last Friday of every month, by 3CR. We want to say hello to our friends in Australia! 3CR Community Radio, don’t give up the fight!!

Hala Bedi babestu nahi duzu?
Hala Bedin proiektu komunikatibo libre, komunitario eta eraldatzailea eraikitzen ari gara. Egunero, ehundaka gara proiektuan parte hartzen dugun pertsonak, eragiten digun errealitatea behatuz eta hura eraldatzen saiatuz, herri mugimenduekin batera.
Gure edukiak libreak dira, inork ez digulako agintzen zer argitaratu dezakegun eta zer ez. Eta eduki hauek dohainik eta modu libre batean zabaltzen ditugu, hedapena, elkarbanatzea eta eraldaketa helburu.
Halabelarririk gabe, Hala Bedi ekonomikoki sostengatzen duten bazkiderik gabe, hau ez litzateke posible izango. Egin zaitez halabelarri eta babestu Hala Bedi!
