What the basque: 14. WTB: Basque Diaspora
Kaixo listeners of What the Basque!! This week we bring you a program about the network of Euskal Etxeak, the basque houses or basque centres that exist around the world. We talk to four different people who worked in these centres in Argentina (Laurak Bat), Mexico city (Euskal Herriaren lagunak), Berlin (@BerlinEtxea) and Sydney (Gure Txoko). They will tell us what they do to promote and foster the Basque culture: Euskara classes, Basque tradicional dances (Ekin in Argentina i.e.)… All these centres are different and speaking with Diego, Joseba, Rodrigo and Mahats we will see what are the differences and the similarities between these four Euskal Etxeak.
