Legendary Gulf Coast guitarist Philip Walker got his first big break back in the early '50s as a member of Zydeco king Clifton Chenier's band. In 1959 he made the move to Los Angeles where he remained since accumulated a sizeable catalog including recordings for Alligator, Black Top, JSP and Hightone Records.
