The camera is a Miranda Sensorex, a 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera that was produced by the Japanese company Miranda between 1966 and 1971. The Sensorex was Miranda's top-of-the-line model and was known for its innovative features for its time, including a through-the-lens (TTL) CdS-cell light meter and an interchangeable viewfinder It features a unique dual lens mount that allows it to accept both Miranda's own bayonet mount lenses and older M44 screw mount lenses. The Miranda Sensorex has a kit with a variety of accessories. a kit including a telephoto lens, an external flash, a lens case, a camera case, and a user manual. The camera's TTL meter is located behind the reflex mirror and uses a match-needle system in the viewfinder. It was a significant feature at the time, as many other SLRs required stopping down the lens to meter. The viewfinder prism is removable, which allows for different viewing accessories to be used or for the camera to be used as a waist-level finder
